Ethics in Action
A Play-Based Ethics Workshop for HR Professionals

Ethics in Action is a hands-on, scenario-based experience designed to help HR professionals strengthen ethical judgment, navigate gray areas with confidence, and learn from one another in a psychologically safe, engaging environment—without sharing sensitive or confidential workplace situations.
Registration includes the facilitated workshop experience, materials, and refreshments. We’ll gather for a light breakfast and informal networking before the workshop begins promptly at 9:25 AM, making the most of our time together.
This session qualifies for 1 SHRM PDC (Ethics) and 1 HRCI Recertification Credit Hour.
This Workshop Is Designed For:
-
HR professionals and people leaders at any career stage
-
Compliance, employee relations, and people operations professionals
-
Those seeking ethics credit for recertification
-
Curious minds interested in ethical decision-making through discussion and play
No prior LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® experience required!
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to identify ethical issues in common HR-related scenarios, apply professional HR ethics standards to decision-making, and evaluate the potential risks and outcomes of different responses. Participants will also explore the role of ethics in HR compliance and risk management, while reflecting on how personal values intersect with professional responsibility.
What Makes This Workshop Different?
Unlike traditional ethics trainings that rely on lectures or compliance checklists, Ethics in Action uses play-based learning to create a low-stakes, psychologically safe environment for exploration and discussion. Participants engage in structured, fictionalized scenarios and hands-on model building to represent ethical tensions and decision paths. Learning is driven by peer insight and facilitated dialogue, allowing participants to deepen reflection, strengthen ethical reasoning, and improve retention—without compromising professional boundaries.
Credits apply toward maintaining SHRM-CP®, SHRM-SCP®, PHR®, SPHR®, GPHR®, and other recognized credentials.
