​About the Partnership

  • PlayInnové has collaborated with Courses4Teachers in partnership with the University of the Pacific (UOP) to bring accredited recognition to our creativity-driven trainings.

  • University of the Pacific is California’s first chartered institution of higher learning, known for its high academic standards, and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

  • Courses4Teachers specializes in helping educators and professionals earn graduate-level professional development credits for trainings.

 

What This Means for You

  • Earn graduate-level professional development semester units for participating in PlayInnové workshops.

  • Receive an official transcript from UOP, a fully accredited institution.

  • Credits are typically used for salary advancement and credential renewal (not intended for degree advancement at UOP).

  • Flexible options: join public sessions or bring PlayInnové in-house for bespoke workshops that qualify.

How It Works​

  • Choose Your Workshop: Participate in and complete a qualified PlayInnové offering and receive a certificate of completion.

  • Register Your Units/Credits: Register via Courses4Teachers, upload your certificate, and complete the required steps. No additional work is required. courses4teachers.net/playinnove/

  • Courses4Teachers will send you a registration and grade confirmation email.

  • Receive Your Transcript from University of the Pacific: After you receive a “Good News” email from Courses4Teachers, letting you know your grade(s) have been posted in the University of the Pacific’s system, you may order an official transcript.

Q: Are these credits graduate-level? A: Yes, these are graduate-level professional development semester credits issued by University of the Pacific through Courses4Teachers. ​ Q: Will my district accept them? A: Courses4Teachers credits are transferable and accepted across the US. However it’s important to check with your district and see if you must get prior approval first. If you need a course description to send to them, please email Courses4Teachers which course(s) you would like a description for. courses4teachers@courses4teachers.net ​ Q: Can I apply these toward a graduate degree? A: No. These credits are intended for professional development, salary advancement, and credential renewal—not degree programs at UOP. ​ Courses4Teachers emphasizes: Check with your district/employer: While UOP credits have historically been accepted across districts in the U.S., each district has its own policies. Always confirm with HR or your credentialing body. Credits are intended for professional development, salary advancement, and credential renewal. They are not transferable toward degree programs at University of the Pacific. Courses may be registered for 1–4 units depending on the workshop length and structure. Registration for credits, payment, and transcripts are handled through Courses4Teachers & UOP.​​
